I hold a M.A. in Piano Performance from CSU, 91¿´Æ¬, and a B.A. in Piano Performance with a minor in Audio Production from 91¿´Æ¬, studying with Andreas Werz and Dr. Larry Warkentin, respectively.
My masterclasses includes work with Angela Hewitt, Joseph Kalichstein and Paul Badura-Skoda, as well as study and participation at the Amalfi Coast Music Festival and Institute in Italy. I have enjoyed solo and collaborative performances throughout the United States and Europe, have been featured on KVPR’s Young Artist Spotlight and received the Alpha Chi National Honor Society’s 2002 H.Y. Benedict Fellowship for my multimedia performance of Ravel’s Jeux d’eau.
My extensive collaborative piano background includes performances with the 91¿´Æ¬ Grand Opera Chorus, FGO Orchestra, Central California Children’s Choir, vocal groups at 91¿´Æ¬ City College and 91¿´Æ¬ and a chamber performance for 91¿´Æ¬ Pacific’s Pacific Artist Series. I have maintained a private piano studio for two decades, with students going on to professional piano and teaching careers.
An active member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California, I serve in committee and adjudications and was the founding chair of MTAC 91¿´Æ¬â€™s Central CA Baroque Festival. I am delighted to serve as 91¿´Æ¬â€™s instructor of piano and director of Keyboard Studies.
